April auction highlights - the properties to watch ahead of this month’s auction!

Published: 16th April 2021

Following the success of our last online auction in February, this month’s property sale is set to be a big one!

This April, properties come from a range of locations across the UK including Hull, Stoke-on-Trent, Durham, Hartlepool and Doncaster, with potential buyers from across the country having the opportunity to bid through our online auction.

In fact, we have so many properties which cam in on deadline day, we’ve moved our auction date back a week to Wednesday 28th April to give prospective buyers more time to see what’s on offer. Our director & head auctioneer, James Vandenbrook, said:

“Due to the sheer number of properties we’re receiving from new sellers, we’ve had to extend our next auction date to accommodate all the new listings.

“We’ve got a diverse range  of properties in this auction - and we’ve been able to extend our reach to locations in the midlands such as Stoke-One Trent and we have continued our presence in Hull and the North East with lots in Hartlepool and Peterlee, which is fantastic.

“After the success of our first auction of the year back in February, I’m looking forward to seeing buyers from across the country bid on our range of properties at this month's online event.”

Here are James’ top three property listings that will be up for grabs in the online auction:

Four-bedroom end of terrace in Rotherham, South Yorkshire

With a guide price of £44,000+, this 4-bed three storey end of terrace is within walking distance of the High Street and train station, as well as within easy reach of Doncaster and Rotherham town centres. The property is currently let subject to an AST which produces £6,000 per annum - so it has fantastic rental potential for it’s new buyer.

Three-bedroom terrace in Woolrich Street, Stoke-on-Trent

This 3-bed home on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent is the perfect property if you’re looking for great rental potential. With its current residential investment generating £4,788 a year, the guide price of this property - £55,000+ - could be a fantastic deal for it’s new owner.

Two-bedroom terrace in Alaska Street, Hull

Located within 1.5 miles of Hull city centre, and around 2.6 miles from the University of Hull, this 2-bed terrace is in an ideal location for rental potential.  Priced for sale at £47,000+, this property has a current residential investment producing £3,588 per annum, plus it comes with a private rear garden.

We currently host six or more auctions each year, with an above national average sold success rate. We publish catalogues of upcoming properties online prior to each auction and interested parties can arrange in-person viewings in advance. Bidding then takes place online over a set timeframe, with optional email alerts and automated bidding facilities for when you’ve been outbid.
